초저전력 모드
SATA 인터페이스의 절전 모드는 Partial 모드와 Slumber 모드를 제공합니다. Partial 모드에서 정상 작동 상태로 돌아오는 데 10 (µs)가 걸리고, 전력 소비를 최대 100 mW까지 획기적으로 낮추며, 10 (µs) 이내에 활성화됩니다.
초저전력 모드(Extreme Low Power Mode, ELPM)는 DEVSLP(Device Sleep, 절전 모드)라고도 하는 최신 절전 모드로, Partial 및 Slumber 모드보다 절전 성능이 뛰어난 SSD의 최대 절전 모드입니다. ELPM이 활성화되면 SSD는 완전 유휴 상태가 되며 전력 소비는 5 mW 미만이고 20 ms 안에 정상 작동 상태로 회복될 수 있습니다. ELPM은 시스템 전력 소비를 획기적으로 낮춰 시스템 성능과 사용 수명을 향상시킵니다.
