Security Erase
SE is the process of erasing all or part of a storage device so that the data it contained is difficult or impossible to recover. Under the ATA Secure Erase command, the SSD will completely erase the data in all the storage units, including data and Block Management Table. This procedure restores the SSD to the default manufacturing setting without having to install additional software. In the case of a power outage, once the power is restored, SE is automatically activated to execute so that data is completely and safely erased.
